Drake Booed Off Stage at Tyler, The Creator’s Music Festival

Drake was booed off the stage last night at Tyler, The Creator‘s music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Apparently fans were hoping for, even expecting, Frank Ocean as the surprise guest headliner. When that didn’t happen, the crowd acted horrendously by booing Drake off the stage.

Amidst the boos, the superstar hip hop artist took to the mic: “Like I said, I’m here for you tonight… If you wanna keep going I will keep going tonight, what’s up?!”

Then, more boos.

“It’s been love. I love y’all. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me.”

Drake reportedly exited the stage 20 minutes before his set was supposed to end. Though he was probably fuming, he kept his cool and handled the situation with grace.

Following the incident, Tyler, The Creator took to Twitter to give his two cents and he’s not very pleased about the way it all went down. His bio is currently: “embarrassed by fans right now.”

The 2019 installment of Camp Flog Gnaw also included performances from 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, Solange, YG, Brockhampton, and many more.
